We will now look at building rapport, covering the aspects of appearance, find common ground / shared experience, showing an interest, and showing empathy. We will touch on unconscious biases and developing curiosity. To do this we need to disrupt our current thinking and the way to do that is by asking different questions. To get new answers we need to ask new questions (consider the work we did in the Mentoring Skills session around asking questions).
