Change the Thumbnail Image of Digital Content in Mediasite
This tutorial explains how you can easily change the thumbnail image associated with your digital content. This helps you and your users identify the nature of the content more easily. Occasionally when using scheduled capture or ad-hoc capture the first image may appear as a "black screen" with the words "no signal" showing. Please DO change this especially if your content is going to be made more publicly available such as on VideoLeeds or the University of Leeds YouTube Channel. 1. If you have used a PowerPoint presentation during your recording then you can simply select the "Edit Slides" option in mediasite, choose the slide you want as your thumbnail image and click onto save. 2. If your digital content does not have slides recorded in this way (for example you have created a podcast or uploaded digital media via a mobile or desktop capture) then you can simply go to the "Edit" tab and then "Delivery", browse your computer and choose a relevant image and select save.
