xHale, user demo (Mica Ross Harris, COMM3725)
A demo of an iPhone app created for the New Media Final Project module, with help from staff at Leeds Children's Hospital. The app is intended for use by children with cystic fibrosis and aims to encourage them to carry out their daily physiotherapy in fun and engaging ways. The app contains various games and animations which are controlled by blowing on the microphone. This encourages the user to inhale and exhale deeply and strongly, which can have potential positive physical effects for these patients.
