Myanmar Spitfires
On 16 October 2012, the Burmese government, represented by Tin Naing Tun, Myanmar's director-general of civil aviation signed an agreement with David Cundall and Htoo Htoo Zaw, his Burmese business partner, allowing them to excavate the Spitfires. Further surveys are planned from January 2013 after the monsoon season ends, prior to an excavation of the site at Mingaladon.
