Publishing to VideoLeeds 2016

This tutorial explain how staff and students from the University of Leeds can publish to the multimedia platform VideoLeeds. For more information on how to publish to these channels visit the University of Leeds Communications website at: http://comms.leeds.ac.uk/ If you wish to find more information about VideoLeeds and media management in general please click on to the i for information bottom right hand corner of the screen. What type of content can I publish to VideoLeeds? We encourage the publication of learning, teaching or research content aimed at supporting and enhancing the educational experience. Examples might include: Copies or excerpts from timetabled lectures appropriate for a wider audience; Research proposals or dissemination of research; Public events and guest speakers; Footage of visiting academics aimed at a general audience (please ensure all visiting academics have consented to the recording being publicly available and this has been agreed in writing); Course trailers; Promotional videos for forthcoming University of Leeds and FutureLearn courses; Practical demonstrations; Videos outlining lab techniques or unique examples of technology; Animations to illustrate key concepts; Specifically commissioned videos to explain concepts in a visual manner e.g. gravitational fields; Live performances; Excerpts of plays, musical compositions and other performance pieces (subject to licensing); Student produced content; "How-to" support guides; Presentations, interviews or end of degree shows.
